                        MARCH OF THE ZOMBIES II

On Saturday, March 13th, the second annual "March of the Zombies" fashion show overran Bender's Tavern (314 E. 13th Avenue - Denver, Colorado). The show, organized by Summer Jackson (Summer Jackson, LLC), included fashion designs by a number of indy clothing designers, including Jackson Ink, Broken Perception, BLK MTL, WhorebathStudio Yoshida and Kimono Dragons.

Music was provided by Throwaway Sunshine, MF KAAOS and w/Arms Raised. The show also featured the work of several artists, including body painter Alan Anderson and Ted of Hooligan Customs.

Dark Silo's own Brian Kaufman was there as well, selling copies of "Dead Beyond the Fence." Kaufman said, "This was an absolute blast. The place was packed with zombies. People came in costume, and the models were absolutely gorgeous. This was the most painless book signing in history."

"The best thing about the event," Kaufman said, "is the way Summer Jackson put multi-media artists into a single event, promoting everyone. This was awesome."

The event began last year as a way for Summer to celebrate her husband's birthday. (Willy Jackson is a huge zombie fan.) For a great overview of the evening, visit Jess d'Arbonne's Blog on Examiner.com.
